Dedicated servers use 4 carriers to ensure network uptime and stabilty and Cisco routers to ensure reliability:

All core links are located within the Pipe IX Datacentre to prevent loss of carriage via external sources. Each link has 2 uplinks within the datacentre to prevent any single point of network failure. Each external datacentre (Pegasus & Orion) run off diverse dark fibre links.
